On October 28, 2020, SGK announces a simplified brand portfolio integrating multiple subsidiaries into a single SGK identity. Starting in early 2021, IDL ceases as a standalone brand and is fully incorporated into SGK’s unified global brand solutions platform.

Matthews acquires Schawk; IDL integrated under SGK

Matthews International announces a definitive merger agreement to acquire Schawk, Inc. (NYSE: SGK) and completes the transaction on July 29, 2014. SGK becomes the flagship of Matthews’ Brand Solutions segment, consolidating IDL Worldwide under SGK’s global operations.

Matthews International completes an asset purchase of The Cloverleaf Group (including iDL, Inc.) for $34 million. Post-acquisition, iDL’s merchandising operations become part of Matthews’ Brand Solutions segment, with The Cloverleaf Group operating as a wholly owned subsidiary.
